Supermarket 2011
Gotland Contemporary Art Gallery contributed to Supermarket 2011 with a collaborative installation titled LIFEBOAT. The symbol of the lifeboat as a lifesaver, could be attributed to the current discussion of art and culture as "adding values" to life. The boat can also be seen as a symbol of communication, which ties with our interest in taking part in Supermarket as a way to make new connections.
